I am a God-fearing lady-lawyer, wife, social activist, traveler, foodie & aspiring photographer. I grew up in Toronto, then moved to Ottawa for about 5 years and just recently moved to Halifax with my husband of just over a year. I am loving getting to know each of these cities in Canada but I must admit that the most recent move to the East Coast has been especially exciting.

The idea for this blog came to me at this particular moment in my life because I realised very quickly after I got married that the next few years would bring with them a lot of change and adjustment. Over the past year, I have learned so much every day about marriage, relationships, setting up a home and – like a good traditional wife, all things cooking.

This blog will serve as an avenue to explore my thoughts and reflect upon my experiences while also creating a place to document all the new things that my little brain has absorbed.
